Discover Mahakal Van, a sacred forest initiative near the renowned Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Created in collaboration with local farmers, this project honors Lord Shiva by planting native fruit trees and Bel Patra, reviving the spiritual tradition of tree worship. With over 604 trees already planted, the forest features species like Bel Patra (Bael), Jackfruit, Lemon, Mango, Orange, and Indian Gooseberry (Amla). The initiative promotes sustainable agriculture, enhances biodiversity, sequesters carbon, and provides livelihood opportunities for the community.
